Not my Nature

They say insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Yet grass continues to grow every time it is cut. The sun continues to rise every time the moon has pulled it away. The waves continue to crash against the shore when it knows they will be pulled back into the sea. Nature isn’t insane, it’s resilient. So maybe the reason I still love you after everything is because giving up isn’t in my nature.
