NOT MY PRESIDENT

A lot of people are telling me

“You’re overreacting.”

The same people who whined that the media was redacting

When their candidate called women pigs on live TV,

It’s not an overreaction when an unqualified man gets the traction

To succeed on platform BUILT from racism, BUILT from sexism, BUILT to kill immigrants

And the black, and the queer, and the Muslim–

His supporters are ignorant.

Your vote for this man tramples the rights of your daughters

You have given every man permission to her body with no consequence

Your vote for this man spits in the face of the fight of your mothers

Another bigoted man dancing in the Capitol under the shadow of the portraits of 43 similar presidents.

HE’S NOT MY PRESIDENT-

He is the leader of rapists,

The king of setting a precedent

For half a country of violent racists

An excuse for barbaric hatred

A burning rainbow flag,

He is a cardholder for segregation and the degradation of women

Those who molest schoolgirls and then brag

He is an example of A True American,

He’s making them Great, they’re rising up again,

Land of the free and home of the KKK

They’re letting Westborough have guns so watch out if you’re gay;

DONALD TRUMP IS NOT MY PRESIDENT
