Numb

Location

Her eyes were swollen from all the tears

That she had cried,

For what seemed to be a thousand years

Is it going to get better?

She questioned her mom

But she, too, was feeling excruciatingly numb

All the pain and suffering he caused

Really put their happy life on pause

It was a vicious and selfish thing to do,

Now everyday feels like she has the flu

The hurt is building up in her eyes,

It's evident every time she cries
