Their stomachs are growling

Their faces filled with fear

From the steps they hear prowling

Their daddy is near

They flinch out of habit

They’re scared for their lives

Like a innocent white rabbit

Both abused by his strife

No one deserves this

Not even a grown man

On their skin there's a list

Of marks of his hand

Each day they hope for improvement

They hope the end of the pain is near

They’re scared of his every movement

But they don't shed a tear

They won't accept pity for themselves

They don't see any use

So they try to escape from this hell

And overcome his abuse
