Sounding so perfect

my "once upon a time"

this journey began

as a perfect rhyme

You drew on my emotions

like honey for a bee

how faultless my trust

oh, how wrong I was soon to see

I gave you my heart

I wore it on my sleeve

your charm and allure

is what deceived me to believe

I conversed my concern

yet you threw deception in my face

your promises built on libel

slithered out in such haste

Then caught in a lie

a liar you became

in the end I hope it was worth it

my trust- what was once us- will never be
