A job can be the shift,

the shift of the stars,

the moon,

maybe even something more drastic, like my life.

 

Could lead to new chances,

new people,

new experiences.

 

I might meet someone,

Do something,

See something.

 

The train tracks of life will shift,

And my life will flow on a different path.

 

From there,

Nothing would be the same again. 

I'd be me but with amendments.

 

One job,

One simple insignificant job of today,

Might change my life of tomorrow.
