The One in the Mirror

Location

I look in the mirror and see this confident girl who has dreams of being a great woman. She has everything she wants in life and lives with no regrets. She has style and grace . She is always the one to talk to when everyone else is done with you. She knows she's beautiful and doesn't need anyone to tell her otherwise. She's smart and ambitious. She walks with her head held high. She is a little concieted but you would be too if you were her. She has a voice and isn't scared to speak her mind.
But then I look in the same mirror and see a girl who is troubled. She's very smart and pretty , but she can't see past all her flaws and imperfections. She doesn't have everything in life that she wants, but she has just barely what she needs. She thinks she's worthless and no good for anybody. She lacks all type of confidence. She's a really good person inside and out but you'll never know because she never comes out. She is not ambitious but quite terribly shy.
I ask this question how could I be looking at the same girl in the same mirror at the same time? I think it is possible that the mirror can only show me what I want to see. It maybe I can't see whats really right in front of me. I ask again how can I be looking at these girls and not know which one is me?
