Onward

Tired of feeling caged,

By pent up agrresion, and rage.

Never would have thought I could fall so hard,

Of course I never noticed the wild card.

In her you saw something I lacked,

And as you kissed, I felt as my heart cracked.

You made me think I had it all,

Then you stole it, with one phone call.

But I call the shots!

Never again will I give in to the to these dangerous thoughts!

I am not trash you can toss away,

Hear me roar, "I am here to stay!"

My future lies before,

Only now do I truely see,

The thing stopping my progress,

Was me.
