Our Country Once

Stars and stripesbut still the fightsA crisis with democracya nation tall...now just strands0ur nation should be better than Ellis Island, and all who camefrom distant shores...they wanted more.Divided now we don’t know howto keep Our country’s liberty A tapestry once based in faithis buried now with so much hate. Alliances that once were strong are vanishing... they don’t belong Once tolerance now ignorancepaints our world with so much hate Borders, walls, and army strikes                                                           isolates America We must join hands with other nationsto keep us from the desecration
