Our Generation

Sat, 02/08/2014 - 22:30 -- Abby12

When I walk into a school, there should be a feeling of motivation, and success.

The teachers and staff are supposed to be on the student's side.

But instead they're condemning us to life in prison.

Change you say, needs to done.

These adults that we see almost eight hours day need to carry us students.

They are supposed to believe in our dreams, when our own family couldn't care less.

We are the upcoming innovators of this world.

We deserve a chance at real life.

I want to change their attitudes.

They need to realize that when they grow old, we're taking over.

Thye need to understand that we need guidance, and support to thrive.

A tree doesn't grow without nurture, and the right nutrients.

We the student body have the ability to make the world a greater place.

If only they'd give is a chance.

If only they actually cared.

If only I could change their attitudes.

Man, wouldn't the world be a much brighter place?
