Overcoming Obstacles

All of my life

 I was living a lie.

It seems that my childhood

has flown right by.

My momma became an angle

and daddy got sentenced to life.

Now I've grown too fast to be a man

trying to make this life last.

I push to keep moving forward

But I'm stuck in my past.

Tell me what's a young man got to do?

Forget about it trough and through?

That I can't do

What's happened has happened

Ain't that the truth?

Use it for motivaton and keep striving for success

Like I do..
