Pagpalangga ako Niya

pastel colors brush the sky

as water color memories fall on my cheeks

the sun sets on all things

even dreams

i must wake and realize

i am sick

i am dying

i have to leave

breathe.

it's all part of the plan

you didn't do anything wrong

it just

happened

breathe.

what did i do? what did i eat? what did i do to deserve everything i love

to be washed away in the sea

my parents' faces

the horror

it was not a happy homecoming

eight doctors later and the results still negative

gotta stay positive

what

how

why

breathe.

it's all apart of the plan

it's all apart of the plan

it's all apart-

breathe.

there are still days i wish

i was back on those sand floors

but i am here now

waiting

but not complaining

speaking the language that i found God

Makakita siya sa akon

He sees me

Ginabati ako niya

He hears me

Ako ang sa Iya nga Bata

I am His Daughter

Pagpalangga ako Niya

He loves me

breathe.
