Paint My Mistakes Blue

Location

NYC
United States

I sleep with my body turned inward

I curl my toes and arch my back

My spine peaks

As I hold my sharp elbows over my

Hollow chest and

Inhale

Shallow breaths like cerulean bubbles in waves

My tentacle fingers wrap round my ribs

Ribs that were rattling with laughter an hour earlier

Can now rest in

Thick

Solid

Musty

Peace

As my body tries in vain to disappear

Tears of

Laughter

Coated my

Glowing

Face

For I’ve found that it is

“Beautiful”

To be damaged

Handsome is the decaying man

As long as it’s kept

In

Your

Mind

Pardon my existence
