Palm Trees

Palm trees are the epitome of peace

Sights like these create a life worth living

In preparation for our God’s decease

Palm trees are like gifts that keep on giving

The tropical weather the trees bring forth

That creates a desired location

It come to an end and we must head north

Which causes plentiful devastation

The lengthy palms spread out such as a wing

Palm trees are brave birds ready to take flight

I adore them for the joy they all bring

They are truly a beautiful sight

The love is ample and it kills my joy

That I love palms yet live in Illinois
