Paws and Angel wings

Cold in winter

Hidden ‘neath the frozen bridge

Could it get any colder

Pleading for food and warmth

She is denied

Luxuries mean nothing

All she wishes is love and comfort

For the winter is cruel

Angels come down to comfort

As their little angel sleeps

Soon light will show

The snow will melt

She will not see the sunlight

Feel the warmth

For she now has paws and angel wings
