Perfect Mouse

Waiting and chasing

I’ve spent too long after another

Forgive me for being blind

Forgive me for not seeing clearly

Waiting and chasing

After another false hope

I didn’t see you right in front of me

Forgive me for not seeing clearly

Wait and chase

It’s all just a game

Cat and Mouse

But I am the mouse searching for the cat

Forgive me for turning my blind eye

Waited and chased

Now the game has ended

I have not won

My blindness disappeared

But you are gone

Forgive me for being blind

Forgive me for not seeing clearly

You were my perfect mouse

But I, blinded by false hope, chased the cat

And now my perfect mouse has moved on
