Perfection. A three way poem

she knows in her heart

it cannot be done

don't we all?

and so she does it anyway...

hiding behind a mask

seeking to achieve

the greatest feat-

Perfection.

in reality

this stranger

in the mirror

obscures

the most beautiful thing about her-

her flaws

The formatting didn't allow for it to be in two columns like I wish it would be (a bold and an italicized column). This poem is supposed to be read 3 ways, 1. Reading only the lines in bold (skipping the unbolded, italicized lines) 2. Reading only the unbolded, italicized text  (skipping the bolded lines) 3. To read everything all together by line. When reading the poem this way, you get three different perspectives of the poem.
