Perfectly Unique

Surrounded by so many faces,
a sea of people,
Each one unique and different from the other.
Each with his/her own story
A unique past
A unique future
But each has had their fair share of struggles,
of strife,
Their fair share of secrets.
And even having said this, every single one of them is beautiful in their own
perfectly unique ways.

Yet so many are searching for something we can never reach, can never attain,
To be normal,
To fit in,
To be popular,
As if it were possible to be someone else and have what they have,
As if it were better to have people accept you than to accept yourself,
Always striving to be someone else and always supressing the beautiful soul inside.

So many different people,
So many different lives,
Each one absolutely beautiful because they are all different.
No one the same,
No one a copy of another being.
Each one with a story to tell,
And a life completely their own.
