Personal Arson

I saw myself when I saw what I could be

I saw the desires and abilities to seek them out

I saw the dark, that horrible black hole that should never be known

I saw it

I knew it

And I shut it out

I walked into the darkest room in my heart and set fire to the walls

I let the flames chase the darkness around and around until it had no choice but to dissappear

I knew my darkness and rejected it

And in the light of the flames I used to drown the worst parts of me, I finally saw myself there
