Phobos

Fri, 03/15/2019 - 00:33 -- VictorP

He's there,

From dawn to dusk.

Fills all with despair,

Leaving them as empty husks.

He pervades our body and mind.

Coming from our inner shadows,

Stopping us in time and leaving us blind,

With nothing but great woes.

However in this blight,

Do not give in without a fight.

Find the light,

And you will be all right.

Even when your knees buckle,

Face forward and laugh it off with a little chuckle.

Show that you are not a little baby that suckles,

By giving him a little one-two taste of knuckles.

The ordeal has ended.

He will surely come back.

You will have to face him again,

But for now you can be proud and shout "I gave Phobos a little smack!"
