Pick Up Your Feet

Feet take you where you want to go,

They don't think,

They don't need to know,

Pick up your eyes,

Pick a point on the horizon,

Realize,

It is you who picks your poison,

Feet don't need to know what you have chosen,

Point them in the direction you want to go and,

Pick up a foot as high as you can,

Remember to be poise and continue striving to be your best,

Remember the stride is it's best when it is not at rest,

And if you should stumble,

Steady your eyes once again on that prize,

Not a moment to grumble,

When smiling to rise,

Your feet do not quit,

When you sit,

They sit,

So stand tall on your feet,

And think twice before taking that seat.
