Pierce my skin and I shall not cry

Mon, 01/22/2018 - 15:32 -- Maxim

Pierce my skin and I shall not cry

for the suns shine is within me

My hearts a summers warmth

a blooming flower

that opens in the wake of spring

I have not anything here on earth

but such that’s buried deep

the core is warm the surface weak

pierce me, I say and I shall not cry

My mind already set to fly

Leave me and I’ll stand

my heart's desire is not with man

My soul's joy does not correlate

with others that have sorry fate

within crowds of crowds

I do not give the will to stay

My life chooses the path astray

for comfort does not grow here

I rely on not what humans gain

but on what lies with eternities name

leave and I’ll stand

My heart's desire is not with man
