Ping: Stuck in Mulan's Body

Mulan was a girl worth fighting for

35 crunches just to strengthen her core

Tougher than a komodo dragon

She could even lift ten wagons

As her strength increased

Her growth seemed to cease

She bound her breasts

So she could fight with the rest

She drank moon flower potions

To stop her blood flow motions

Cut her hair and removed her make up

For men leave their face bare and hair up

The time for war was near

And Mulan’s goal was clear

Mulan would become Ping

His future free of engagements and rings

Mulan is Ping

And that should be the only thing

That matters in his response for arms

Ready to protect China’s cities and farms

Ping spat and fought and trained

He struggled, tired and strained

With a swelling pride in his chest

For he, had become a man.  The best.

But war is difficult and resources are scarce

The loss of moon flower potions made it a farce

Ping was wilting and his body was reverting

Everywhere was hurting.

Ping could tell the truth and go home

Brew more potions or continue to roam

But his dream had finally been fulfilled

And he was afraid to be labelled or killed

When the Huns appeared from the snowy northwest

Ping knew how to keep Mulan suppressed

He took the firecracker and ran straight to the leader

Blowing up the killer and the misleader
