Planetary Alignment

Let's be silly and run on
rooftops,
watch the sun rise
and the moon set.
Let's dream of a world
that only we knew.
Hidden were the nightmares
and terrors of below,
for we were so
high, where
pink roses
bloomed.
Beside the burnt chair
and vomit,
we laughed until
we cried,
and pissed
the devil
out.
Brothers and friends,
you remain in my heart,
until the dawn of time,
when all the fires are
out,
and the water
dried.
We will remain,
in the hint of a smile.
I guess I'd like to
stay a while.
