Poem to my Brother

To my brother

You had been sober for so long

I thought our life could carry on

But then the day came by

You thought you'd give it another try

Just one little hit

Putting the joint between your lips

All you feel is pure bliss

I try to tell you the damage it does

But you hear nothing

Because all you crave is that buzz

You push us, your family, away

And get high all night and day

You say your not addicted

And I may believe that

But mom and dad keep trying

Yet you keep on lying

That you'll stop being a fool

And try a little harder in school

Brother, please don't rip out my hear

By leaving us all in the dark

I love you brother

Thats all I have to say

If you keep on smoking

Their may come a day

Where you can't come out to play
