Poseidon the Marine Biologist

The beach is full of plastic and muck but he stays there, the protector of the sea He thinks about the work he's done and as he stares he beings to weep All the tests and experiments and inventions he had done he wonders: What is wrong with me? The world is breaking, and the sea is the first to go  From the glaciers to the reefs there is no hope in sight for the waters below Poseidon knows he must try to make the ocean once again glow He will try to fix the damage, the plastic, and the heat although his work will be slow Poseidon is the protector of the sea, and now he must work to undo the damage that he can now see
