Post-secondary nostalgia

Wed, 10/22/2014 - 20:59 -- JadeBee

Watching the moon fall as I rise,

my mothers weary, loving eyes

The way my friends embrace me,

as if it has been years

The way my algebra homework

reduces me to tears

Autumn leaves and their hasty escape

And the long anticipated holiday breaks

Spring formals

Winter socials

Dumb jokes in the cafe

And long bus rides with your best friend

These are the little things that make high school enjoyable
