The Power of Acceptance

Another I day I wake, incontinent with what I am.

I hold the power of change, but that is not my plan.

I want to start accepting myself, just the way that I am.

No more judgement to my figure whether full or thin,

No more anger at my body for my imperfect skin.

I will claim myself and have pride for myself, no more holding it in.

Acknowledging the beauty that I naturally posses,

My perfect vessel of which I am hostess.

I declare the liberty of Acceptance!

I promise it is not to hard,

To just open your eyes in loving acceptance of who you truly are.

So pledge with me, all who will, this is not a sin,

Discover who you really are, find the potential within.
