Pulchritudinous

Reason beyond reason, madness within madness

Swirling shapes and color

Formless and hapless, bleeding forth

The very essence which is life.

Frantic and fearsome, flying fractured onward

As it holds in its heart

The foibles of fascination unfounded.

Where is its core?

Are we trapped in the stillness of a hopeless dream?

Do we come and go to the murmurs

Of our lungs breathing

And our hearts beating

And our souls screaming

The sounds of wishes and longings

Which to their end

Sound silent to the ear?

Accursed night, falling swiftly over the eyes

Of twilight—a memory of day.

Perishing in thought,

The mind writhes, unforgiving

Of its own expression, thoughtless in execution,

Numb in attention,

It cries out for its shame.

Riding the wings of mystery in forgiveness.

Naked and shameless in truth.

Shall honesty bear its name?

Standing alone,

Its significance realized in insignificance.

Underestimated is rife condemnation,

Whilst sitting open,

Baring spirit and life,

Love sees and fills all time.
