The Pull

Location

As I rolled out of bed in the middle of the night the moonlight shone brightly along with the stars.

100,99,...88...

It felt like any other night, "It" wanted, no needed to come out.

71,...69,...64...

Hunger, thirst, blood.

"It" craved and demanded with no remorse as my body was "It's" vessel.

56,...44,...

Each step I had taken came with excruciating pain.

Atlas, neither mind nor body could support itself anymore, I fell into oblivion.

36,...23...

The emotions were unexplainable.

The smell of fear was in the air.

19,...17,16...

Screams of terror came from those "It" had encountered.

Soon death followed.

11,...9,...5...

When I gained consciousness I found myself at the edge of the earth.

I watched as the ocean waves came in on the beach, going back and forth, calming my once ragging heart.
