Pyeonghwa

Cutting it close to losing my clarity,

seeing all the damage I’ve done.

Watching what I saw in the mirror,

the monster in which despised.

Walking along this thin line,

Wondering where I treaded on.

Opened my mind up, after cutting my ties.

Gotta hang up the act, afraid.

Finding the forgiveness, through your eyes.

I wanna see the best of us, lovely.

Writing this one down for you,

Seeing all the colors in the earth, through me.

Loving us through this nightmare.

Loving you with the fog within us.

I’ve written about the lovers before you, such a misfire.

Burning from the surrounding moment.

I need to not worry, I need to be kind.

Seeing the footprints from my anguish,

Bleeding from poisoned desire.

Writing this one down for you,

Seeing all the colors in the earth, through me.

Learning from what was left to bare.

Learning by trying not to fuss.

Glowing with this passion, as long as it’s here.

Diving into the new tomorrow,

somber in question.
