I wish I could tell you

about myself:

that I love the whole spectrum of gender

and that I feel so uncomfortable

in my own skin

that I want to peel it all away

and become new

one without the secondary characteristics

to hold me back and that make me

scratch and scratch to release.

that I want to read about others like me

so that I know that I'm not alone

that I don't have to be silent my whole life

and that others have felt the way I do,

with a passion bubbling inside their chest

waiting to burst out and scream to the world
