A Question for the Rose that Grew from Concrete (tribute to tupac shakur)

I have a question for you
How did you managed to grow from concrete
From all the hurt and the foolishness
They laughed at you
They thought you were crazy
They doubted your ability to dream big
So did you have to prove them wrong?
You reached deep down within yourself
Encouraged yourself you can do it
The early morning dew gave you life
There was a small crack where the sun shines
Did you follow that path?
You dug way down deep within your soul
You cried for dear life
You’ve been fighting this fight alone
Only the sun came to shine its light upon you
Telling you that you can do it
You climbed and climbed for freedom
There is peace outside of this concrete
The climb was getting harder but you kept going
Did you see the glory that lies ahead?
It’s at the tip of your petals, you can feel it
You made it through
So I say at last for the rose that grew from the concrete
When no one else cared
But the sun was there
Shining its light down upon you
Just rescue you from despair
