The Real Change To Education

Location

On my path to education, I see

So clearly and very obviously

The pattering of feet from my classmates,

Listening to a lecture most do hate,

Pencils at a loss for silence dictate,

Its relevance causing immense debate.

The several, like I, ponder onward,

“And so to what does this lean my life toward?”

I aim to change its path to move forward,

Education reformed in ways unheard.

I dream of a place not where grades matter

But where knowledge to life without shelter

Lies bare, uncensored and so realistic,

No matter how it is very caustic.

Better to live on with the hardened truth

Than to live on with a pretend mind tooth;

And with this knowledge, we all must know why

It is critical in life to apply,

Before it assumes an elusive guise

And loses the valuable mental prize

To properly form one’s future emprise.
