The Real Reason She Left.

Location

She was perfect.

Bottled blonde.

With hardly any flaws.

Straight A's in every class.

Cheer leader on top of that.

Do you know why she's gone?

Some say she just up and left.

Some say she couldn't deal with the stress.

But I remember.

Because I saw.

I know why she left.

She had an opinion.

An actual voice.

She was more than just a sheep.

Then you had to push her down.

Before she could break free.

That was why she left.

Some say she couldn't deal.

Some say she forgot what was real.

But I remember.

Because I saw.

I know why she left.

She had spirit.

She had a chance.

She tried to make a change.

But diference scares you.

So you drove her down the drain.

That was why she left.

Some say she though she was too cool.

Some say she was a fool.

But I remember.

Because I saw.

I know why she left.

She inspired things in me.

Things I never thought.

I push on in her memory.

The war she never fought.

Maybe I'm not strong enough.

But people will come through.

And if you crush me down.

You'll know why I left too.

Some say just let it be.

This battle isn't yours

But I fight for all of us.

Because I remember.

What I saw.

I know why she left.
