I've always wanted to write poems

for the benefit of our society

yet i've never known where to begin

write about America, Love, Sports, Piety

I've tried to find some sort of meaning

Some sort of reason to do what I do

And not long ago, I soon figured out 

The reason for my writing is you

To understand why I write

First you must understand me

You must realize that I am deeper

And much smarter than people see

I write in rhymes to entertain

But I give morals as well

For some these morals are hard to find

But for others much easier to tell

So enjoy or understand my poems

Whichever you'd like to choose

Just make sure it is known why I write

The reason? The reason is you.
