Relief

After the darkness cleared from my head
And all of the words that he said disappeared
I took one good hard look at myself
and realized I was happy
The waking up in the morning to an empty bed should of struck a sadness
But instead
Something else entirely washed over me
Something I wasn't expecting at all
The happiness I felt was like a relief
The weight of whatever I had just gotten out of was taken off my shoulders
And I no longer had to worry about it
It should of been sad
It should of different
But it wasn't
And I was actually happy.
