Remember?

Remember the day you cheated death?

You hid your face and held your breath

You stood your ground and had no fears

You thought these days would last for years

The days of tag and skipping stones

Of sunny skies and ice cream cones

The days of fun and running fast

Of water balloons and soft green grass

The days of smiles that stretched on for days

Of pumpkin pies and a tall corn maze

You thought the fun would never end

You stood so tall to support your friends

You hid your toys from both your brothers

Remember these days, unlike any other?
