Remember Me/Look At Me

Remember Me

Present

here

can you see?

Are you blind

not to see me?

No.

Because I am

gone.

I am your son.

You love me

with an endless love

that nobody can feel

nobody can see

but us.

In fact,

I think that

maybe

you see too much.

But you see

too much

for a reason:

to make them

see me.

See me and remember

who

I

am.

Look At Me

I am here.

Can you see?

Are you too far gone

to remember?

Or does another

hold your mind

away from me?

Can I find your mind?

When will you notice

that he's gone

and I'm all you have left?

Never.

Never have you

shown me affection

like you show him.

The one who's

sixteen years gone,

When will you look back

and see

that I am here

in place of that boy.

Your son.

My brother.

Forever known but

forever gone.

So please.

Turn around and

look

at

me.
