Remember The Name

Location

Fixate your  narrow point of view

On that pedestal you thought I'd never reach.

Listen to my ballad of words spew from my brain

Down to my mouth and across the plain.

The audience is roaring and standing up tall,

Understanding how I fell and learned to crawl.

Up to that place so far from my grasp

never knowing how long I would last.

Feast your eyes again on my silhouette

Breaking the horizon's beautiful sunset.

Remember all those times you clashed with my head

and all those times I'd forget what you said.

I never understood why I was your wall of shame

Until today when I told you remember the name.
