Lying candidates selling us more fears
The Destruction of our nation they tell us to beware
But they will just do the same pretending we won’t care

Be responsible for what you do, the hypocrites say
When they’re planning to spend more of your money away
More of the same, more of the lies
The fools eat it up just like the flies

You should pay our bills and your own too, the nominees say
We need more government to waste you away
More power for us and less for you
In our new nation it’s only the elites that rule

Replaying our problems over and over
Telling us turnover and rollover
Telling us the same thing as the other nominees
Just in different words and in different degrees

Republican and Democrat they’re all the same
In the end they just want the other to be blamed
Political power is their only goal
They don’t care about the people or their hopes

Ashes to ashes and dust to dust
