Riot Girl

Melodica laughter,

thrill in her eyes,

innocence cloaking her features.

She enters and with her a parade,

emotions of inconceivable valor,

emotions too new to name.

Everything that is her,

appears in shades of pastels.

But I hear her dreams, rapid and rebellious,

an accelerated melody,

all around me,

striking.

She is concerts at two am;

the joy of being free and the adrenaline in your veins,

she is glitter on the ground,

a trail of radiance wherever she walks,

she is indie coffee shops,

a hidden gem,

she is spontaneous dancing,

liberation.

She cannot be tied down,

a hurricane,

a riot.

Won't you see me riot girl?
