In another act of this blood marked play,

Two lives end for the life of another.

While a maiden's love had blossomed that day,

Bad news arrives from figure like-mother.

The Maiden in sorrow, wishes to see

Her beloved who hides with the Friar.

But much more worried for his life is she,

When she hears his path is lined with briar.

Her father tries to act as the new moon,

That fails to bring light into the blackness.

Marriage to suitors will not make her swoon,

But kill her as she flees from Count Paris.

In hopes that a rememdy can be found,

Lovers run from stars to which they are bound.
