I close my eyes,
Deep sleep dreaming.
I walk the streets,
Of empty nights.

I took a wrong turn,
On a road to nowhere.
I ended up,
On a street of silent stares.

Body and mind,
Spirit and soul.
Took over what I thought
I had under control.

This road I travel,
It's called Silence.
It takes me nowhere,
But through my sadness.

Silence with my mind,
Silence with my heart.
Silence with my soul,
Silence with my thoughts.

The further I travel,
The darker it seems.
Trying to find my way back,
To reality.

I reach a street called happiness,
I've been there once before.
I travel through, not looking back,
I'll visit you once more.

I find myself,
Grasping for air.
I feel the need,
To reach out for care.

I open my eyes,
In pursuit for you.
I look far and wide,
You're no where to be found; not even in sight.

I turn around and I see a shadow,
Hoping for any vision of you.
To once more see that smile that placed me in euphoria,
And remove me from this silence that I'm used to.
