The Road to Somewhere

Wed, 01/09/2019 - 00:38 -- Rozlyn

There’s a road, it’s leading Somewhere.

I can’t see the end, just curves, and bends.

I’m taking this path, into the unknown.

Where a choice must be made,

And faith must be grown.

I don’t know where I’m going.

Just to take one step after the other.

So many decisions, and so much to do.

A pathway to choose one after another.

If I just keep on walking, I’ll find my way through.

It’s a frightening thought, to stumble on in the dark.

With this road leading to Somewhere,

Where life leaves a mark.

I’ll just keep on walking,

Down this worn and weathered way

To this place I don’t know, and yet,

My feet shall not stray.

One foot. Each after the next.

Just make the footprints - a simple leap of hope.

Onto this road, and descending each slope.

I'm going Somewhere.

No one can say.

For this is MY path,

I must find my own way.
