Location

It creeps up on her like a sly fox

Slowly, it caresses her skin

She ponders; wonders in incredulous delight

Hopelessly, she lies awake, basking in the gloriousness of her newfound happiness

Will it last?

Her lips twitch as she struggles not to smile

Her eyes fill with tears as she struggles not to cry

Her hands reach her face, recognizing that it is truly herself that feels

Will it last?

The twilight fades as her consciousness does

She awakens suddenly, scaring herself into more fear

Will it last?

It creeps up on him like a sly fox.
