The rose

I bare to you a rose
A symbol to overcome the foes

The rose is damaged and worn
I protected it for you, even though I ended torn

The rose is not red nor white, not long not short
This rose will provide you with a fort

The rose has thorns that can kill
But first it will fill

The rose will fill with love and happiness to represent a beginning
The beginning will leave you grinning

Then will come the half, the half will be colder and less of a show
You will begin to feel low

At last the rose will present an end
The end will be the final stand

After the rose has finally ended you
With thorns that can kill
You will fall and lay quietly
And still

So to you, I bare this rose
With this I let the door close
