If I could

I would auction off my fondest memories

I would sell my dreams to slavery

and let chains weigh them down

as their identities are taken away

they become none existent

I would wrap time around my finger

and let it follow my pulse

maybe it will go by quicker

Because I was told that time heals all

However, time is patient and I am not
