The Sad Case

Wed, 04/29/2015 - 22:38 -- Comet02

Every channel on the radio.

I love you this, I love you that.

They don't know what love is.

Love is heartbreak.

Love is non-reciprocal.

Who has to negotiate to give their love?

"Please give me the right to tell you that you're pretty"

"Please, oh benevolent one, let me tell you that I love you"

I am a surf. I am a sad case. I am used goods.

But I keep wanting more.

Step after cruel step, I'll never escape.

I'll beg for my chains if ever she flashes the key.

My love for her is tutelage,

And even that right is a gift.
