Sadness

Sadness does not happen quickly

it waits

it lurks in the dark

it's hiding in the shadows of your childhood park

Sadness is not in the present

but in your memories

waiting to pounce

every minute is your life by an ounce

sadness is evil that can't be touched

evil that can't bee heard or seen

sadness is a paracite

coming in and stealing your own light

just like a parasite

sadness can be avoided

there is a trick you can play

just pretend that sadness could be happiness one day
